'Stop Asking Buhari For Peanuts – Biafra Group Tells Niger Delta Avengers

A Niger Delta militant group has called on acting President Yemi Osinbajo dissolve the board of the the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board over what they describe as the unpalatable, unacceptable activities of the board.

The group, Niger Delta Creek Warriors in an open letter made available to Naija News pointed out that the plan of the Buhari Muhammadu led government developmental agenda towards the people of the Niger Delta has been a settled issue but the efforts of government had been thwarted by the greedy present Administration of the NDDC and other Niger Delta ministries.

The group noted that contractors in the region bemoan prolonged non payment of completed contracts awarded by the NDDC. The said contracts are awarded without mobilization and the delay of payment of completed contracts deliberate act to frustrate contractors from the region in general and particularly the developmental plan of the government for the region.

Here is an excerpt as exclusively sent to Naija News

Sir, this open letter is predicated upon the fact that the present administration of NDDC is not competent to handle matters of the board and we are appealing to the Buhari led government to Appointed competent hands to pilot the affairs of the commission.

Therefore, we are calling for the immediate dissolution of the current Board as the purposes of the creation of the commission is now set aside for their personal aggrandizement against the developmental plans for the Niger Delta region as construed in the law that the NDDC act.

Justice must not only be done but it must be seen to have been done in a very transparent manner by paying completed jobs in the Niger Delta region by the NDDC.

This is the stand of all militants groups in region. That their continues stay in office will leave us with no choice than to continue with our destruction of oil installations and pipelines in the region.

Because the allocation coming the NDDC is a waist and it’s frustrating the efforts of Nigeria government in cubing the crisis in the region.

The Amnesty office ,The ministry of Niger Delta affairs and NDDC can be able to solve the crisis in the Niger Delta  but none of them deem it fit to solve the crisis, Rather insulting  the militants and issuing provoking words in the region, that has made the militants to continue bombing.

We are also using this great opportunity to call on the Acting President prof, Yemi Osinbajo to stop further discussions with the Pan Niger Forum (PANDEF)  which is led by Chief E.K.Clark , followed by King Alfred Diete Spiff, Chief Victor Attah, Timi Alaibi and Dr, Emolade as Secretary and others.

That this set of people doesn’t represent the interest and people of the Niger Delta. Most importantly the Various militants groups in the  Region is not represented.

We are also calling on all multinational corporations to immediately relocate their headquarters to the region in two weeks time. Failure in expiration of our giving date, we shall  close the Nigeria Economy without looking back.

We shall destroy all oil installations in the region. To the Northerners and westerners leave now while there is still time, Because there is no going back in the  Declaration of independence in Niger Delta region.
