Presidential Tribunal Verdict Is Against Reason, Evidence Presented - PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ali Kalat, has been declared the winner of the election in Jema’a Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

Naija News reports that Kalat who is currently the incumbent lawmaker is re-elected to represent the Jema’a constituency for a second term.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning Officer for the election, Professor Dauda B. Ishaya, made the announcement at the state collation center in Kaduna, the state capital.

Ishaya said the PDP candidate polled 26,640 votes to defeat his closest rival, Sambo Maigari of the All Progressives Party (APC) who got 22, 371 votes,

He added that the Labour Party candidate, Maidawa Friday got 6,201 while Bulus Kajang of NNPP got 988 votes.
