2023: PDP Gives Adeleke, Suswam, Melaye, Others New Appointments

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed some party leaders to Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation (PCO).

Naija News reports that the Director-General of the PDP Campaign Organisation, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, made this known in a notice on Saturday.

Tambuwal said the PDP PCO has approved the appointment of the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the Chairman of the South-West Coordinating Committee of the campaign council.

The Sokoto governor added that the former governor of Abia state, Senator Theodore Orji, was also appointed as the Chairman of the South-East Coordinating Committee.

He also said the former governor of Benue State, Senator Gabriel Suswam has been appointed as the Chairman of the North-Central of the Coordinating Committee of the campaign council.

Tambuwal added that governor Darius Ishiaku of Taraba State was appointed as the chairman of the North-East Coordinating Committee of the campaign council.

According to Tambuwal, former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye was appointed the Director of Public Affairs of the campaign council, stating that all appointments are with immediate effects.

He also disclosed that key PDP members were also appointed to head strategic campaign offices and Zonal Liaison Desk Offices to steer the Atiku Abubakar presidential bid.
