Peter Obi Salutes Flamingos For Securing U17 WWC Semi-Final Ticket

Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi salutes the Flamingos of Nigeria as they advance to the Under-17 World Cup Semi-final.

As previously reported by Naija News, the Nigerian girls defeated the Americans on a penalty to move on to the competition’s next round.

The Colombians will compete against Bankole Olwookere’s girls in the semifinals at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Through his social media page, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate praised the girls.

“Salute to our talented Flamingos for reaching the first-ever U17 women’s world cup semi-final.

“You all have written your names in our hearts, and Nigerians appreciate your great efforts. Congratulations to you all.” he wrote.
