PDP Reacts To Tribunal Ruling On Bauchi, Enugu Governorship Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has slated September 28, 2022, for the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organization (PCO).

The National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Umaru Bature, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the inauguration will take place at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza in the Wuse area of the FederalĀ  Capital Territory (FCT).

Naija News reports that the PCO consist of the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC) and the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Recall that the PDP had appointed the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, as the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), while the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, was appointed as the Vice Chairman, North.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, was appointed as the Vice Chairman South of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State was appointed as the Director General for the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC).

The PDP appointed a former governor of Cross Rivers State, Liyel Imoke as Deputy Director of General Operations while Professor Adewale Oladipo was appointed as Deputy Director of Administration.

Chief Raymond Dokpesi was appointed by the party as the Deputy Director of Technical and Systems, while Ekwesilieze Nwodo is appointed as Deputy Director of Research and Strategy of the NCMC.
