Man Allegedly Beats Wife To Death Over Window Net
Agga Sunday Yakub has allegedly beaten to death his wife, Esther Anjugu over a window net in Sabon Pegi Shabu, in Nasarawa state.
According to late Esther’s family, the 39-year-old and mother of four, died on the 7th of January 2022.
They claimed that their daughter was beaten to death during an argument with her husband over fixing a window net, Naija News learnt.
However, some eyewitness told BBC Pidgin that Agga Sunday Yakub did not touch his wife and that she slumped while they were quarreling over who was to fix the spoilt net in their house.
The family of the deceased had stormed the police command in the state, demanding justice after insisting that their daughter was killed and did not die from natural causes.
The Police command in Nasarawa state has arrested Yakub.
The police is also planning to conduct an autopsy to find out what really caused the death of madam Esther.
