#OndoDecides2020: APC’s Akeredolu Massively Wins Polling Unit

The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Wednesday, upheld the election of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State.

Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo governorship election, Rotimi Akeredolu, has massively won his unit.

Naija News reports that Akeredolu, the incumbent governor of the state, voted in unit 6 Ward 5, Isokun, Ijebu Owo.

Announcinfg the result, the INEC official stated that Akeredolu scored 413 votes while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, polled 12 votes and the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Agboola Ajayi, who is the deputy governor scoring zero.

Jegede had also won his polling unit with 220 votes to defeat the APC candidate who scored 60 and Ajayi with seven votes.

Jegede voted at Unit 009, Ward 2, Akure LG located inside Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral area of Akure.

Meanwhile, the ZLP candidate swept the polls at his polling unit located at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government of Ondo State, southwest Nigeria.

Ajayi scored 395 votes while the APC candidate pulled just 13 votes.

Like Akeredolu, Jegede garnered just 5 votes while the candidates of the LP and the AAC got one vote each while six votes were voided.
