High Court Sends Ifeanyi Ubah Packing Again For Allegedly Forging Certificate

The Abuja Federal High Court has sacked the lawmaker representing Anambra South district in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah.

Naija News reports that Justice Bello Kawu in the Friday ruling dismissed Senator Ubah application to set aside an earlier order issued in a judgment delivered by the court on April 11, 2019.

Kawu, in an earlier judgment, had sacked the lawmaker representing Anambra South for allegedly submitting a forged National Examination Council (NECO) certificate, to contest the February 23, 2019, senatorial election.

He also asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Ubah and hand it over to Dr Obinna Uzoh of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who came second at the election.
