FEC Meeting Postponed over unfinished 2018 Budget
The Presidency has postponed the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) expected to hold today.
The meeting was postponed as a result of the lack of completion of the 2018 budget.
The Presidency disclosed this on Wednesday via its official Twitter handle.
The meeting was consequently postponed till Thursday, to discuss the 2018 budget.

It said a special session of the council will hold to discuss the 2018 Appropriation Bill.
The tweet reads:
Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting will hold tomorrow, Thursday Oct 26. Agenda is #Budget2018, which is currently being finalized.

Recall that the Federal Government had assured that the 2018 Appropriation Bill will be submitted to the National Assembly this month.
The meeting is expected to be presided over by Presdent Muhammadu Buhari, who returned from a common currency meeting of Economic Community of West African States last night.
