Okorocha Declared Senator-Elect In Imo

The incumbent Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has been declared the winner of the Imo West senatorial zone.

He has therefore been declared Senator-elect for the zone.

Announcing the results, the Collation Officer in Imo State, Professor Ibeawuchi Francis declared Okorocha winner with a total vote of 97,762 votes to defeat his closest rival, Jones Onyereri of the PDP who scored 63,117 votes.
