Allegri Claims Ronaldo Deserves To Win 2018 Ballon d’Or Award

Juventus head coach, Max Allegri has given his support for his side’s superstar player, Cristiano Ronaldo to win the 2018 Ballon d’Or award.

Recall that Ronaldo was shortlisted for the 2018 Ballon d’Or award earlier this month.

The Italian coach believes Ronaldo deserves to win the award for the sixth time because of his achievement this year.

“Cristiano deserves to win the Ballon d’Or for everything he’s done – the goals he’s scored, the trophies he’s won and what he’s doing this season too,” Allegri told Juventus’ official website.

“He’s world-class. He’s taken us to another level because he’s brought international experience and he’s raised everyone’s belief.”

The 2018 Ballon d’ Or award will take place on December 3, 2018 in Paris.
