Breaking News: Missing Gen. Alkali’s Body Found In A Well

The Nigerian Army has located the remains of Maj-Gen. Idris Alkali’s body in an abandoned well in Guchwet in Shen, Jos South LGA of Plateau State.

The body was found in a village near the mining pond where his car was found and removed.

It will be recalled that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, last month constituted a Joint Task Force to search for Gen. Alkali’s body.

Alkali is the immediate past chief of administration of the Nigerian Army.

The senior military officer had been declared missing since September 3, 2018 after contact was lost during a journey in which he drove himself and was travelling from Abuja to Bauchi.
