Alexx Ekubo’s Sister, Chioma Shares Grief Over Brother’s Demise
The sister of late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, Chioma, has expressed deep grief over the demise of her brother in a social media post.
Naija News reports that Chioma, via her Instagram page on Wednesday, cried out about her brother’s absence from the world.
Chioma said the demise of Alexx has left her shattered and hurt.
She also recalled some memories with Alexx, saying they always looked forward to getting old together.
She wrote, “My ANGELBEING, it’s been a cold Earth since you left with your warmth. How do I navigate life without you in it, my brother? This was not the plan NNAM. I always looked forward to old age with you, your jokes, your advices and admonition. You hurt me brother by taking of the way you did without a proper good bye. I m shattered beyond words , hardly a seconds go by without the thoughts of you. I hope you are watching and not silent.”
In other news, veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, recently mourned the death of Alexx, describing him as a cheerful and energetic person who left a lasting mark on Nigeria’s movie industry.
Edochie, who spoke in an interview with PM News, reflected on the memories they shared and the plans Ekubo had made before his death.
The veteran actor said he met Ekubo only three times, but each meeting remained fresh in his mind because of the late actor’s warm and lively nature.
He recalled one occasion when Ekubo visited him at his hotel with a cow and a group of Ogene drummers to invite him to an event.
According to Edochie, the actor had also discussed plans to celebrate his 80th birthday next year, but those plans will no longer happen because of his passing.
Edochie also spoke about actor IK Ogbonna, saying he stood by Ekubo as a loyal friend during his lifetime and continued to show that loyalty after his death.
