Transfer: Tottenham Sign Dubravka, Leeds Agree Deal With Harry Wilson

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign veteran goalkeeper Martin Dubravka on a free transfer when his Burnley contract expires on 1 July, 2026.

Dubravka joins Tottenham after making 35 Premier League appearances for Burnley last season and becomes Roberto De Zerbi’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke.

The 37-year-old, who previously played for Newcastle United and Manchester United, arrives as uncertainty continues to surround the future of Italy goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who is attracting interest from Serie A clubs.

“It’s an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experience for me and my family. I’m looking forward to it,” Dubravka said. “Everything moved pretty quickly and I’m really happy to be here. I’ve loved watching Roberto’s teams over the years and know all about his style, vision and the fantastic fans here.”

Dubravka brings significant experience to north London, having made 197 Premier League appearances and kept 51 clean sheets. De Zerbi believes the Slovakian’s leadership qualities will strengthen his squad as Spurs continue their rebuilding project.

“I am very happy because Martin is a goalkeeper with big experience and a strong mentality,” De Zerbi added. “He has very important qualities for me and will bring balance, leadership and competitiveness to our dressing room.”

Meanwhile, Leeds United are closing in on Fulham attacker Harry Wilson after agreeing a four-year contract with the Wales international.

His move away from Fulham in the coming days is subject to a medical and the signing of final documents. The Yorkshire club faced competition from several Premier League sides and have finally landed a player they unsuccessfully pursued on deadline day last summer.

Wilson leaves Fulham after an outstanding season in which he scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions, earning the club’s player of the season award. The London side made repeated attempts to keep him at Craven Cottage, but the forward is now poised for a fresh challenge.

Leeds are not stopping there. The club remain interested in former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt, who is available on a free transfer, and are also monitoring Southampton midfielder Shea Charles after an initial £20 million approach was reportedly turned down.
