Harry Kane Predicts Arsenal Vs PSG Champions League Final

Harry Kane has backed Paris Saint-Germain as “slight favourites” to beat Arsenal in this season’s UEFA Champions League final after his own European dream ended with Bayern Munich.

Naija News reports that Harry Kane scored deep into stoppage time as Bayern drew 1-1 with PSG in the semi-final second leg. The late leveller came too late to rescue the tie after the German champions had lost 5-4 in Paris the week before.

The final will now take place in Budapest on May 30, where Kane believes the French side hold a narrow edge.

“We can win the double,” he told Sky Sports Germany. “In my opinion, PSG are slight favourites in the final.”

Despite the disappointment, Kane wrote his name into the competition’s history books. His 90+4 goal made him only the second player to score in six consecutive knockout matches in the Champions League, matching a run set by Al-Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo while at Real Madrid.

Kane’s scoring streak spanned ties against Atalanta Bergamo, Real Madrid and PSG, but Bayern’s exit ended any chance of extending the record in the final.

The 32-year-old must also wait for his first European crown, though domestic success remains within reach. Having retained the Bundesliga title, Bayern are chasing the DFB-Pokal and will face VfB Stuttgart in the final.

Kane’s personal campaign has been prolific. He has delivered 55 goals and seven assists in 48 appearances across all competitions and is closing in on the Bundesliga Golden Boot. In Europe, he sits second on the scoring chart behind Kylian Mbappé.
