Samuel Chukwueze Mourns Mother’s Death As Brother Shares Emotional Tribute

Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze is mourning the loss of his mother, Mrs Sarah Chukwueze, following heartbreaking tributes shared by his brother on social media.

Although the AC Milan forward who is currently on loan at Fulham, has not publicly confirmed the news, his brother, David Chukwueze, announced her passing through a series of emotional Instagram posts, expressing the family’s deep grief and shock.

In one post, David wrote, “Can’t even post your picture to say RIP mum.”

In another, he added, “My forever love just left me without saying goodbye.”

He also shared his pain with the words, “You didn’t even carry your grandchild.”

At the time of reporting, no details have been released regarding the cause or nature of Mrs Chukwueze’s illness.

Samuel Chukwueze recently represented Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, where the Super Eagles secured a third place finish. The winger has yet to release an official statement on the passing of his mother.

Naija News reports that the tragic news comes shortly after another loss within the Super Eagles camp. Just two days earlier, national team captain Wilfred Ndidi lost his father, Sunday Ndidi, in a road accident in Delta State.
