Oborevwori Reshuffles Cabinet, Redeploys Commissioners
Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved a minor reshuffle in his cabinet, leading to the redeployment of some commissioners across key ministries.
Naija News reports that the changes were announced in Asaba through a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu.
Under the new arrangement, Michael Anoka has been moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy.
Sunday Tataobuzogwu, who was serving in the Ministry of Energy, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal. Rose Ezewu has also been transferred from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education.
Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu has been moved from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education as part of the reshuffle.
The state government said all the redeployments of commissioners are with immediate effect.
In a related move, Governor Oborevwori has approved the nomination of Festus Ovie Agas, Frank Enekorogha, and Charles Ajuyah, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as members of the Governing Council of Delta State University, Abraka.
The government added that the date for the inauguration of the new governing council members will be made known later.
