Bournemouth are exploring the possibility of a loan move for Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri, according to The Independent, which reported that the 18-year-old England Under-21 international would prefer to remain at the Emirates Stadium until the next summer transfer window.

At Crystal Palace, manager Oliver Glasner has provided an update on his own future. Speaking to the Mirror, the Austrian coach said he plans to intensify discussions over a new contract in the coming weeks before making a final decision.

Palace could also face a battle to keep hold of defender Marc Guéhi.

The Mirror claims Liverpool are considering a £20m transfer move for the 25-year-old England international during the current window.

AC Milan are weighing up defensive reinforcements, with Calciomercato reporting the Serie A side are assessing Liverpool’s Joe Gomez and Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo as potential transfer targets.

Uncertainty also surrounds the future of Manchester City defender John Stones. The Times reports the 31-year-old England international is entering the final year of his contract, with Pep Guardiola casting doubt on whether he will remain at the Etihad Stadium.

Veteran striker Mario Balotelli is preparing for another transfer move. Goal reports that the former Manchester City and Liverpool forward is set to join UAE second-tier club Al Ittifaq, which would be the 14th club of his career.

In Italy, AC Milan look set to retain their first-choice goalkeeper. Sky Sports Italia, via Football Italia, reports Mike Maignan is close to signing a contract extension despite recent links with Chelsea.

At Bayern Munich, Dayot Upamecano is nearing a new deal. Fabrizio Romano says the France international has verbally agreed to a contract extension, with the remaining discussions centred on the inclusion of a release clause.

Liverpool are also being linked with attacking reinforcements. Fichajes claims the Reds are considering a move for former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, who has impressed during his current spell with Marseille.

Tottenham Hotspur are pushing ahead with plans to strengthen at left-back. The Standard reports Spurs are in talks with Santos over a deal for 19-year-old Brazilian defender Souza after an initial £8 million transfer bid was rejected.
