Premier League Matchday 6 Fixtures, Kick-off Time, Merson’s Predictions

Premier League matchday 6 will take centre stage this weekend with some mouthwatering fixtures, and former Arsenal star Paul Merson has shared his predictions on how things could play out across England’s top flight.

The Premier League matchday 6 kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with Manchester United travelling to Brentford. Ruben Amorim’s side has been inconsistent so far, and Merson believes the Bees could frustrate them. “Brentford 1-1 Manchester United,” he told Sportskeeda.

Attention then shifts to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea host Brighton. With both teams looking to find rhythm, Merson tips the Blues to edge it.

“Chelsea 2-1 Brighton,” he predicted. Manchester City, meanwhile, are expected to make light work of Burnley at the Etihad with a “2-0” scoreline.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Crystal Palace will welcome Liverpool to Selhurst Park in what could be a tricky test for Jürgen Klopp’s men. Merson went bold by calling it a draw: “Crystal Palace 1-1 Liverpool.”

Nottingham Forest, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Arsenal are also in action, with the Gunners’ clash against Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Sunday evening the standout tie of the round. Merson anticipates a cagey affair in the North East, predicting “Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal.”

The weekend closes on Monday night with Everton hosting West Ham at Goodison Park. Merson expects the hosts to come out on top with a solid “2-0” win.
