Chelsea Full 2026-2027 Premier League Fixtures

Chelsea will launch the 2026-2027 Premier League season with a west London derby away to Fulham on Monday, August 24, marking the start of a new chapter under head coach Xabi Alonso.

Alonso took charge in May after a turbulent campaign that saw both Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior leave the club. Interim boss Calum McFarlane guided Chelsea to a 10th-place finish, leaving the Blues without European football for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

The fixture list offers Alonso an early examination of his side’s credentials. Chelsea travel to defending champions Arsenal on September 5, just three games into the season, before hosting newly promoted Hull City a week later.

One of the standout fixtures arrives on December 5 when Chelsea host Liverpool. Alonso spent five years at Anfield as a player and will return there on May 1 in what could be an important clash during the closing stages of the campaign.

Chelsea’s run-in also includes meetings with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur before ending the season at Stamford Bridge against Brentford on May 30.

The opening months are relatively kind in terms of travel. Chelsea’s trip to Everton on October 17 is their only league fixture outside London across their first nine matches.

There is also intrigue surrounding the home meeting with Manchester City on April 24. Maresca is expected to take charge of City before then, setting up a return to Stamford Bridge less than 18 months after leaving Chelsea.
