Let Gbajabiamila Focus On Tinubu’s Job – Makinde Cautions Detractors

A member of the House of Representatives, Dr Abiola Makinde, has cautioned certain individuals against distracting President Bola Tinubu‘s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

In a statement issued on Monday, Makinde noted that some propaganda campaigns are being schemed with the aim of diverting the attention of former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The federal lawmaker has urged these individuals to cease their efforts and allow the former lawmaker to focus on his duties as the Chief of Staff to the President.

Makinde, who represents Ondo East/West in the green chamber of the National Assembly, emphasized that Gbajabiamila is highly deserving of his role as the Chief of Staff to the President. He further highlighted Gbajabiamila’s extensive experience in serving the country for over two decades, which serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to the Nigerian project. As the Chairman of the House Committee on Human Rights, Makinde, who served under Gbajabiamila in the ninth assembly, attests to his humility and exceptional leadership qualities.

“These same leadership qualities are what have not only endeared Nigerians to Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, they have also ensured his steady ascendancy and accelerated promotion in politics. He is a morally upright man who has mentored a lot of people, myself included.

“I enjoin detractors to stay away from propaganda as the season for the campaign is over and allow the former speaker to focus on delivering the renewed hope mandate of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Nigerians who are yearning for it.”
