The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has broken the silence on the ruling of the Supreme Court.

Recall that the Supreme Court in its ruling after President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

The apex court also supported the earlier ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) which affirmed Tinubu the as winner.

Naija News understands that the Supreme Court struck out the petition of Atiku and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.

Speaking on the outcome of the Supreme Court, on Monday, Atiku said the outcome of the suit filed against the election shows that “all is not well”.

Atiku in his statement at a World Press Conference said what Nigeria is dealing with is bigger than just a Presidential election.

He said his evidence shows that INEC violated the electoral act and procedure to declare Tinubu president.

Atiku said, “The Supreme Court outcome even though final shows that all is not well.”

He added that retired Justice, Musa Dattijo Muhammad, recently gave a pointer to the situation in the judiciary.

Atiku said when INEC and the judiciary are enmeshed in controversy, democracy cannot thrive.
