The 2023-2024 Nigeria Premier Football League matchday five will return in full force on Saturday, October 28.

As usual, all the games that will be played on Saturday and Sunday will kick off at 4 p.m. except the game between Sporting Lagos and Niger Tornadoes at the Onikan Stadium which will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29.

The game between Enyimba and Remo Stars has been postponed indefinitely due to Enyimba’s engagement on the continent.

On Saturday, there will be only three fixtures in the NPFL matchday five while on Sunday, the remaining six league games will go down.

One of the most interesting NPFL matchday five to watch is the game between Bendel Insurance and Akwa United. The two teams who enjoyed a very fair run last season are not having a good run so far this season.

As for Bendel Insurance who enjoyed a massive unbeaten run in the abridged NPFL season last term, have suffered one defeat and two wins in three games so far.
