Fani-Kayode Reacts As Tinubu Names Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has congratulated Bayo Onanuga on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu.

Recall that the appointment was confirmed in a statement released on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

Reacting to the appointment in a post via his X handle on Saturday, Fani-Kayode said he has immense respect for Onanuga’s abilities coupled with his sense of loyalty, tenacity of purpose and courage.

He expressed confidence that Onanuga will do a great job as the leading voice in the Presidency and also bring a lot of credibility, experience, zest, zeal, and strength into the battles that lie ahead.

Fani-Kayode also commended President Tinubu for remembering the former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) who gave his all during the presidential campaign.

He wrote: “Congratulations to my dear friend, brother and colleague in the struggle Omoba Bayo Onanuga (@aonanuga1956) who has been appointed Special Advisor to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy.

“I have immense respect for Bayo’s abilities coupled with his sense of loyalty, tenacity of purpose and courage.

“I have no doubt that not only will he do a great job as the leading voice in the Presidency but that he will also bring a lot of credibility, experience, zest, zeal, and strength into the battles that lie ahead.

“I thank Mr. President for remembering this great and worthy warrior who gave his all during the presidential campaign.

“With Bayo in the ring things will change for the better very quickly. I wish him and his entire team well.”
