Army Chief, Lagbaja Visits Sanwo-Olu In Lagos (Video)

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, on Monday, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State at the State House, Marina.

The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Lagos governor, Jubril A. Gawat, made this known on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday.

Gawat said Lagbaja commended the governor on various infrastructural developments ongoing in the State and the tremendous support they have received from the State Government.

He added the Army Chief is in the state to supervise the clearance of the Unexplored Ordinance (UXO) at the site of the 2002 Ikeja Cantonment Bomb explosion and other major security activities.

“The COAS commends Governor #jidesanwoolu on various infrastructural developments ongoing in the State and the tremendous support they have received from the State Government.

Sharing a video of the visit, Gawat wrote, “Governor of Lagos State, Mr Jide Sanwo-Olu, today received the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja on a Courtesy Visit today at the Lagos House, Marina.

“The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) is in Lagos to supervise the clearance of the unexplored ordinance (UXO) at the site of the 2002 Ikeja Cantonment Bomb explosion and other major security activities.

“The COAS commends Governor #jidesanwoolu on various infrastructural developments ongoing in the State and the tremendous support they have received from the State Government. #GreaterLagosRising.”
