Fubara Was Summoned To Abuja On How To Become A Servant To APC And Wike - Okonkwo

Labour Party (LP) chieftain, Kenneth Okonkwo, has claimed he is scared of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Naija News reports that this followed Wike’s statement that the PDP leadership at the South-South zonal and Rivers State levels approved his ministerial appointment to serve in President Bola Tinubu’s government.

During an interview with Channels TV Politics Today on Wednesday, Wike maintained that he obtained the permission of the PDP before accepting the All Progressives Congress (APC) ministerial appointment.

Reacting to this, Kenneth Okonkwo, in a post shared on Twitter, said that PDP is not different from APC, and only the LP and its presidential candidate in the 2023 election had made it clear that they are not part of the corrupt government.

He said, “I am scared of the Party, PDP. Wike just revealed that the National Chairman, State Chairman, Governor of Rivers State of the PDP, approved his being appointed Minister by Tinubu.

“I can say it authoritatively that Labour Party and @PeterObi have made it clear that they are not… part of this government. A new Nigeria cannot be possible with old expired, corrupt, election riggers. PDP and APC have expired. We must move on to a new Nigeria without these parties in contemplation”
