Video: I Auditioned For BBNaija Five Times But Failed To Secure A Spot – Hilda Baci

Renowned chef and record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has disclosed that she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija reality show five times but failed.

The culinary expert disclosed this during a recent interview on the Nigerian radio program Cool FM’s show called “The Big Friday Show.”

Speaking to Tacha, the show host, Baci disclosed that she planned on gaining entrance to the BBNaija show and thereafter proceed with her cook-a-thon.

However, she failed to secure a spot on the show.

She said, “I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.

‘The plan for the cook-a-thon was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thon.”

Baci was recently certified by Guinness World Record (GWR) as the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

She achieved the feat after cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes.
