Senate Leadership Meets Organised Labour Over Fuel Subsidy Removal (Photos)

The leadership of the Nigerian Senate is currently meeting with organised labour at the National Assembly complex in Abuja.

Naija News report that the Senate leadership under Senate President Godswill Apkabio is meeting the Labour leaders over their grievances about the fuel subsidy removal and other policies of the federal government.

It was also gathered that the labour leaders visited the National Assembly at the invitation of the Senate leadership, weeks after they embarked on a nationwide protest.

At the meeting is the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) president Comrade Joe Ajaero; the President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Festus Osifo and some members of the unions

Also at the meeting is the Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele; Senate Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, and other principal officers of the Senate.
