The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku has reacted to the adoption of his written address by the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC).

The tribunal also reserved judgment in the petition filed by Atiku seeking nullification of the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.

In his written address, Atiku urged the tribunal to do substantial justice to his petition and not a technical judgment that may pervert the course of Justice.

He maintained that Tinubu must be disqualified on the premise of the American Court judgment where he was made to forfeit $460,000 on narcotics and money laundering-related offences.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, the former Vice President said he made an appearance at the tribunal as he and his party attempt to seek justice.

The PDP presidential candidate expressed hope that the journey for justice which has started well would end well.

He said: “Today, I made my appearance at the Court of Appeal in Abuja as we marked a critical step in our journey for justice at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. It was a journey that started well, and I am hopeful it will end well.
