‘I Didn’t Expect Justice' - Charly Boy Reacts To Presidential Tribunal Verdict

Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has reacted to reports of a nationwide broadcast by President Bola Tinubu.

Naija News recalls that special adviser to the president on special duties, communication, and strategy, Dele Alake said there would be a broadcast on Monday by 7pm.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 7pm.

“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” he said.

The broadcast may not be unconnected to ballooning inflation and economic hardship caused by the removal of subsidy on petrol.

Reacting, Charly Boy claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) are always stealing what they cannot use.

He wondered the reason Tinubu refused to entertain any presidential debate during his campaign period, but is now willing to give a presidential broadcast.

Speaking via Twitter, he wrote “APC always stealing what they can’t use.

“Person wey steal mandate, wey enter house from window no sabi sweep house.

“Now him wan do press conference? Person wey dodge all the presidential debate.

“Ok na speech from DELE him go read.

“Make una dey play.

“If it didn’t dey it didn’t dey.”
