Comedian Nasboi Breaks Down In Tears As He Loses His Only Brother

Nigerian comedian cum Nollywood actor, Lawal Bolaji, popularly known as Nasboi, has lost his only brother to death.

Naija News reports that the skitmaker made the disclosure in a post via his Instagram page on Saturday, 29 July.

Nasboi also shared an emotional photo of himself in tears.

According to him, the deceased, who is 20 years old, died on Friday night.

He wrote: “Death took my only brother last night. He was only 20. God knows best”

Reason I Mimicked Davido When I Started My Career

Meanwhile, Nasboi has opened up on the reason he started his career by mimicking Davido.

The singer explained that he began to mimic the DMW boss to gain attention.

The comedian revealed this during an interview segment of MTV Base Naija 10 recently.

Nasboi, who launched onto the Nigerian entertainment scene as “Low Budget OBO” said his goal was to get Davido’s attention and showcase his musical talent to him.

On why he became a skit maker, Nasboi said, “It [my mimics of Davido] started looking like cruise to everybody. So, I said, okay, let’s jump on it. That’s how I jumped on it and it started looking like it demanded for me to start making skits. So, I had no option than to make skits.”
