Ganduje Declares Position On Ondo APC Governorship Primary Which Produced Aiyedatiwa

The Federal High Court in Kano State has slated September 22 to deliver judgment on the case filed by former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, stopping the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission (PCACC) from investigating him.

Naija News understands counsel to the Kano State anti-graft agency, Femi Falana (SAN), on Tuesday argued that immunity for Ganduje ended May 29 when he left office as the governor.

Falana said due to this, no court within the country should protect him, his family, or his cabinet.

In a counter-argument, counsel to the former governor insisted that due process was not being followed and that is a breach of his client’s fundamental human rights.

Earlier, this platform reported that the Kano PCACC is working to prosecute the All Progressives Congress chieftain over a series of controversial videos released in 2017.

The videos, published by an online news outlet Daily Nigerian, allegedly showed Ganduje accepting contractor kickbacks.

But the former governor, however, denied the accusations and claimed that the videos had been manipulated.
