Chelsea's Raheem Sterling Reveals Nigerian Singer He Loves Listening To His Song

English professional footballer who currently plays for Chelsea, Raheem Sterling, has revealed the Nigerian music artist he loves listening to his song.

Naija News reports that the 28-year-old player mentioned in a viral video on the club’s TikTok account that he loves Nigerian singer, Asake’s hit track, Amapiano.

Sterling aired his mind in a video where the Premier League club was asking the players their favouring songs while walking them to the club’s training ground in Cobham.

“Amapiano by Asake,” Sterling revealed as he made his way inside.

The likes of Ben Chillwell, Reece James and others also named their preferred songs of the moment. “The Weekend: Like a God”, said Chillwell.

Cesare Casadei said “Shiva: 100 Opps”, while James said: “Rod Wave: Street Runner.”

Similarly, Carney Chukwuemeka, who is eligible to play for Nigeria, also revealed he listened to “Grateful” by Nigerian gospel singer, Sinach.

Naija News reports that the Blues are expected to travel on a preseason tour to the USA to play a series of matches ahead of the new season.

Ogenyi Onazi Joins Hong Kong Premier League Club

Meanwhile, Nigerian midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has made a free transfer from East Riffa of Bahrain to Kitchee FC of the Hong Kong Premier League.

The 30-year-old joined the 12-time champions of the Hong Kong Premier League after a brief stint with Casertana FC of Italian Serie D and Bahrain. However, the club made no disclosures about the details of the deal.

Ogenyi Onazi signed a free transfer to Italian Serie D team Casertana FC in August 2022, six years after making his Serie A debut for Lazio.

Onazi left Turkey in 2020 after playing for Trabzonspor and Denizlispor. He had brief stays in Saudi Arabia, Denmark, and Lithuania and then returned to Italy in August 2022.

He made one appearance for Casertana in Serie D before transferring to East Riffa in January.

Ogenyi Onazi, 30, who won the Lithuanian league title with FK Zalgiris Vilnius in 2021 and, may be able to add another trophy to his club career with the record Hong Kong champions.

Recall that he also won the Coppa Italia at Lazio in 2013, Turkish Cup at Trabzonspor in 2020, and won the African Cup of Nations for Nigeria in 2013.

Since Onazi made his international debut in 2012, the 30-year-old midfielder who last played for the Super Eagles in 2018 scored a goal in 52 games for Nigeria.
