'The Church Can Not Be His Structure' - Bwala Tells Peter Obi What He Must Do To Ensure Survival Of Labour Party

The Spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation, Daniel Bwala, has expressed displeasure with the reported plan by President Bola Tinubu to appoint former governors as ministers.

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, Bwala claimed that the President does not want the status of Minister of State because he wants to use the Special Advisers as quasi-ministers of state.

He said the reported plan is commendable because most special advisers are often not utilized with their competence in those roles, adding that the roles are most often than not used for political patronage.

He wrote: “Why he doesn’t want status of minister of state is because he wants to use the Special Advisers as quasi ministers of state.

“That is commendable to me because most SAs are often not utilized with their competence in those roles.

“The roles are most often than not used for political patronage. HOWEVER, I still have grouse with his insistence on appointing former governors as ministers. In fact, failed former governors.
