Embattled 19-year-old Mmesoma Ejikeme has reportedly become suicidal after confessing to manipulating her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

Naija News earlier reported that the eight-member panel set up by Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State to investigate the controversies surrounding the results claimed by Mmesoma had indicted the student.

Headed by Professor Nkemdili Nnonyelu, the committee confirmed Mmesoma forged the score of 362 as earlier claimed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to the report submitted to the governor, Mmesoma confirmed she single-handedly forged the result before approaching a cyber cafe for printing.

Taking to Instagram, Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu some moments ago shared an audio of Mmesoma threatening to take her life following the outcome of the UTME fracas.

Harrison, who visited the young student, stated that the 19-year-old had reached out to him, sobbing uncontrollably.

He further pleaded with the public and examination body to forgive and pardon Mmesoma.

Sharing the video, he captioned it, “Her call over killing herself took me to Nnewi.

”Please, let’s forgive this Jamb girl NMESOM A. She has promised to tender an APOLOGY and explain how she got the result.”
