#YobeDecides: Low Turnout As Voting Commences In Yobe

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have started attending to voters in Yobe state.

However, Naija News gathered that a low turnout of voters is being recorded across a series of polling units in the state.

Most noteworthy was PUs 009, 008, 013, Masalanchin Jumu’a, Bolewa A ward of Potiskum, Yobe which have a combined voting population of 1500.

However, around a few minutes to 10 am, only about 25 voters turned up to get accredited and cast their votes.

Meanwhile, the voting process commenced early in polling units 034, and 015 in Angwan Alkali. Naija News gathered that everything was already up and running as early as 8:45 am.

Also, no technical issues have been recorded in those polling units as the BVAS devices are said to be working perfectly.
