Enugu: LP Guber Candidate, Chijioke Edeoga Votes

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Enugu State, Chijioke Edeoga, has cast his ballot.

Edeoga voted in his polling unit 006 Omulor Ward, Eha-Amufu, in the Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of the state.

He voted at mid-day amid a large turnout of voters in his unit.

Enugu Guber: APC Candidate Uche Nnaji Votes, Expresses Confidence

The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, Uche Nnaji has expressed his confidence in winning the elections.

He stated this at his polling unit, Agwashi 015 polling unit in Akpugo, Nkanu West LGA.

Nnaji, who was accompanied by the National Vice Chairman of the APC in the South-East, Ijeomah Arodiogbu, as well as the Zonal Organising Secretary, Dozie Ikedife.

The governorship candidate described the electoral process as smooth and commended INEC for its level of preparedness.

He said: “The exercise is working quite well. This time around it would not be business as usual, this is the first time in Enugu that there is a real contest.”
