‘We Won’t Vote For APC On Saturday’ – Women Protest Non-payment For Presidential Election (Video)

Some women in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State have staged a protest against the All Progressives Congress (APC), demanding payment for voting during the just concluded presidential election.

Naija News reports that this comes barely a week before the state gubernatorial election.

In the viral video, the women who spoke in Yoruba language said Ikorodu had more votes compared to other local government areas in the state.

According to the women, Ikorudu lacks good leadership, stressing the vote canvasser and voters are yet to receive money for the last election.

The angry women added that they would not be voting for APC on Saturday or might decide to stay indoors during the elections.

Sanwo-Olu, Gbajabiamila, Bisi Akande To Grace Victory Prayer

Meanwhile, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Speaker of the federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Seyi Tinubu, among others, are set to grace a special victory prayer session for the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, in Osun State on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Naija News gathered that the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has organised a victory prayer session for the emergence of Tinubu at the presidential and national assembly elections.

The monarch who disclosed the development in a statement in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, said the main focus of the prayer programme is to appreciate God for destroying the political curse on the Yoruba generation as well as seek divine direction for a successful administration of the President-elect.
