See How Peter Obi Was Received At Abia State Days After Losing Presidential Election (Photos)

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was received by a large number of supporters in Abia State on Friday.

Naija News earlier reported that the former governor of Anambra State had visited the family of the senatorial candidate of the party for Enugu East Senatorial District, Oyibo Chukwu, who was assassinated in Enugu before the presidential and National Assembly elections.

After his engagement in Enugu State, Peter Obi and his team including the state gubernatorial candidate, Alex Otti, drove to different communities in Abia State.

According to him, the aim of the visit was to thank the people of the state for their support during the just concluded presidential election.

Peter Obi also urged Abia residents to extend greater support to Alex Otti and other House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He said: “After my engagements in Enugu State, I drove to different communities in Abia State with my friend and brother, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, @alexottiofr to appreciate the people for their support during our Presidential and Federal Elections.

“I also urged them to extend even a greater support to the Governorship Candidate of the Party and other House of Assembly Candidates, in the forthcoming State Elections. Let us always promote the Family Value – by voting for the Labour Party—LP: Mama, Papa, and Pikin.”
