'Shocking Decision' - LP's Rhodes-Vivour Reacts To Supreme Court Ruling

The Alumni of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) have confirmed that Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rohdes-Vivour was indeed a student of the school.

Naija News reports that there have been speculations about the LP’s candidate being an alumnus of the institution.

However, an email received by Daily Post from the MIT Alumni Association on Thursday indicated that Rhodes-Vivour’s indeed attended the institution from September 2005 to February 2008.

“Mr. Rhodes-Vivour attended MIT from September 2005 to February 2008 and was awarded the degree of Master of Architecture on June 06, 2008,” said Nicole Balkissoon, Finance and Operations Coordinator.

Gbadebo, who is also known as GRV, gained popularity after the presidential candidate of the LP, Peter Obi won the Lagos State in the presidential election.

The 40-year-old architect will be running against the incumbent governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) on Match 18.

Another strong contender is Abdulazeez Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Though Adeniran, a.k.a. Jandor, and the PDP have ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the LP, GRV is gaining more followers after the Peter Obi victory at the polls in Lagos.
