Mixed Reactions Trail Rhodes-Virvour’s Possible Win At Gov’ship Polls

There have been mixed reactions over the possible victory of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos for the March 11 polls, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

Naija News reports that Rhodes-Vivour gained more popularity and momentum following the victory of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, in Lagos during the presidential election.

Ahead of Saturday’s polls, Rhodes-Virvour has bagged the support and endorsement of many like the former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George.

However, some Nigerians have taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to react to tendencies of Rhodes-Virvour’s emergence in Lagos State.

@Aki Godluv Stan: “This is the looks Peter Obi had brought to labour party and it is really intimidating so much that politicians had resorted to buying the whole INEC rather than buying votes. PDP is no longer a contenders.”

@Ifetoye John Kehinde: “Opportunity to do gragra. The last election created this atmosphere for gbadebo. We shall see how juicing or funny it will be on Saturday sha.”

@ Hunga Adebowale Adeleyeinike: “This movement has become an headache for the opposition Hahaha GBADEBO is the next governor of our state Lagos state LP all the way.”
