Kaduna: Atiku Defeats Peter Obi, Others In Shehu Sani's Polling Unit

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar recorded a comprehensive victory in the polling unit of a former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani.

Naija News reports the PDP candidate won in Sani’s polling unit 02, Tudun wada north, Kaduna south LGA, Kaduna state with 88 votes.

Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (PDP) had 23 votes, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 20 votes while Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored two votes from the same unit.

The PDP also emerged victorious in the senatorial district election result from the polling unit with 86 votes, while APC scored 41 votes, NNPP got nine votes and LP got no vote.

Sani is a chieftian of the PDP.

Tambuwal Delivers Polling Unit For Atiku

Meanwhile, the Director General of the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, delivered votes from his Polling Unit (PU) for Atiku Abubakar at Saturday’s presidential election.

From the result seen by Naija News, Atiku led by 250 votes in polling unit 033, located at Government Girls Day Secondary School, Tambuwal, the PU of Governor Tambuwal.

Atiku’s rival from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, garnered 44 votes only from the PU.

Tambuwal, who is contesting the Sokoto South senatorial position on the PDP platform, polled 252 votes against APC’s 44.

For the Federal House of Representatives results, PDP scored 247 against 45 for APC in the polling unit.
