Voters Groan As Election Materials Yet To Arrive In Several Polling Units In Akwa Ibom

Voters in Akwa Ibom have expressed concern over the absence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at the various polling unit as at 09:40am when accreditation and voting are supposed to have commenced across the state.

Naija News learnt that polling units in locations and local government areas, such as, Ibiono Ibom, Shelter Afrique, Southern Ukanafun ward and others are yet to commence voting due absence of election materials in the state.

As at the time of filing this report, no electoral officer has arrived, however, from the videos shared, voters and security personnel could be seen loitering around while they wait patiently for the INEC officials to arrive.
