Massive Crowd Storms Stadium For Tinubu’s Grand Finale Campaign Rally In Lagos (Photos And Video)

A mammoth crowd of supporters on Tuesday stormed the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos State for the grand finale of the campaign rally by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

The crowd dressed in different customized attires, started arriving at the stadium well ahead of the start time for the rally and already filled the entire stadium.

As earlier reported by Naija News, President Muhammadu Buhari is set to attend the grand finale of the APC campaign rally and lead the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) to the home state of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Expected at the rally are the APC Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; the Director General of the PCC and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, all APC State Governors, members of the National Assembly and other prominent leaders of the party.

The chief host, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to welcome President Buhari and other APC leaders to the nation’s commercial city.

As at the time of filing this report, the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived Lagos State for the Campaign rally through the Presidential wing of the Lagos Airport but is yet to arrive at the stadium.

Diversion Announced

Naija News recalls ahead of the rally, an advisory has been issued to Lagosians for better movement to ease the expected disruption of normal traffic.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) issued a travel advisory to assist commuters around the state ahead of the APC rally in the state.

LASTMA General Manager, Bolaji Oreagba, in a statement on Sunday, said the company of campaigners making their way to the venue would include President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, APC loyalists and supporters.

Explaining how the campaign team would travel from the airport, the LASTMA boss said the APC leaders will travel from the local airport through Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Maryland; Ikorodu Road (Idi-Iroko, Anthony, Obanikoro, Onipanu, Fadeyi), Jibowu, Empire, Moshalashi, Ojuelegba, Barracks, arriving at the stadium.

The traffic management agency provided alternative routes for affected commuters.
