Some Anambra-based northern Muslims have narrated how the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi treated them when he was governor of Anambra State.

Recall that Obi had ruled Anambra State as governor from March to November 2006, February to May 2007, and from June 2007 to March 2014, respectively.

According to them, the former governor was the only government official who had visited them during their Ramadan fast, to worship and eat with them after their prayers.

They noted that the LP candidate had also brought two trucks filled bags of rice and food condiments for the Muslim community in his state at the time.

According to Peter Obi, he is not contesting for himself but for millions of youth who have lost hope in the country and women who are afraid of the future of their children.

The LP flagbearer added that he alongside his running mate Yusef Datti is ready to deliver a new Nigeria to citizens.
