Atiku Rejects Presidential Tribunal Verdict, Reveals Next Move

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has been invited to the Chatham House to speak ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The Chatham House director of the Africa Programme, Alex Vines, however, on Monday said Atiku has not responded to their invitation.

Vines disclosed this in his opening remarks while hosting the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi at the Chatham House, in London.

He further stated that the independent policy institute had earlier hosted the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

According to Vines, the institute would host the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwakwanso and the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu on January 17 and 18 respectively.

He said, “We have sent an invitation to the candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar but he is yet to reply to our invitation.”
