Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrates after netting for his team Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA clash with Washington Wizards.

After the game, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player who holds dual Greek and Nigerian citizenship said: “I work hard. A lot of people think my game is boring, but I’m doing everything to improve.

“I tried to make the right decisions, to stay aggressive throughout, to do everything for the team to win.”

Antetokounmpo’s teammate at Bucks, Bobby Portis, came off the bench to contribute 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Tuesday also saw the stunning 117-115 Sacramento Kings victory against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

De’Aaron Fox of Sacramento scored a layup with four-tenths of a second remaining to give the Kings a two-point advantage before Lauri Markkanen’s three-point attempt at the buzzer, which was first given for Utah, was ruled out.

With 22 of his 37 points coming in the fourth quarter, Fox helped Sacramento take the lead in the Pacific Division.

Elsewhere, despite the absence of their star scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, due to sickness, the Oklahoma City Thunder destroyed the NBA leaders Boston Celtics 150-117.
