Actor Alex Ekubo Replies Ex-Fiancée, Fancy Acholonu’s Public Apology

Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, has finally reacted to the public apology of his ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu.

Naija News recalls that on 26th August 2021, Fancy called off their wedding ceremony which was scheduled to hold in November.

While announcing their separation, a part of the social media post read: ‘Everyone should find their happiness and live in their truth.‘

However, in a statement shared on her Instagram page on Thursday night, December 29, 2022, Fancy apologized for hurting him and his family.

She also revealed how hard it has been for her since she lost him, adding that it felt like grief.

She further noted that her actions were out of character and realized that she could have controlled her emotions and not been so overreactive.

Responding to Fancy’s apology, Alex expressed appreciation to her and prayed that God will bless them all.

He wrote: “I appreciate the apology, may God bless us all”

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress cum Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy Governorship candidate in Lagos state, Funke Akindele, has opened up on the saddest day of her life.

Naija News reports that the movie producer while speaking with Wazobia FM on her latest movie ‘Battle On Buka Street’, recounted how a difficult life situation left her broken as she cried all day.

When asked about a particular scene that gave her a serious tough time in the movie, Funke Akindele referenced her fight scene with Mercy Johnson.

The mother of two said she was crying and praying to God over the undisclosed issue when she got a call for the movie shoot.

According to Funke, she took a deep breath and encouraged herself not to give up as troubled times are not always permanent.
