Adamu Garba Speaks On Arewa Forum Dumping Tinubu’s Campaign Activities

Former Presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has debunked claims that the Arewa Concerned Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has disassociated itself from the party as well as Tinubu/Shettima’s presidential campaign activities.

Naija News reports that the spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, Dino Melaye, on Tuesday night, shared the statement on his Twitter page making a mockery of APC.

The statement which was signed by the national chairman, Bello Lawan, and national secretary, Sadius Suleiman alleged that all campaign activities in the 36 states including the nation’s capital FTC have been put on hold till further notice.

It also disclosed that Arewa Forum has disassociated itself from giving Tinubu the 6 million votes earlier promised.

However, Adamu Garba, while reacting to the statement described it as typical blackmail and people should not succumb to it.

He further urged the APC supporters to forge ahead with their campaigns and ignore blackmailers.

He wrote: “This is a typical blackmail & we shouldn’t succumb to it. If we tolerate this, we’ll simply open a new blackmail market for every opportunist. Reminder from a case of Vikings alliance with King Ecbert of Wessex in 800s. We should forge ahead with our campaign & shun blackmailers”
