Kaduna: Escaped Student Narrates How Bandits Moves Victims Like 'Herd Of Cows'

Three brothers and their ransom bearer have been reported killed by their abductors in Taraba State after they received a ransom of N60 million as agreed.

Naija News reports that the police spokesman in the state, Abdullahi Usman confirmed to Channels TV that the kidnappers killed their victims in the Lau Local Government Area (LGA) of Taraba State.

According to him, the sad incident took place on Sunday at Garin Dogo community of Lau LGA, after the three brothers were kidnapped from the said community.

Usman disclosed that the kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of N100 million, but the father of the brothers, Alhaji Musa, who is said to be a dealer in cattle had negotiated the amount to N60 million and the abductors of his sons agreed to the bargain.

However, Naija News understands that the kidnappers who demanded cash payment via a motorcyclist still killed the three brothers and their ransom bearer after collecting the money.

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported that one Madam Success who lured four female students into prostitution in Delta State has been remanded in prison.

The defendant was denied bail after she was arraigned on Friday before a magistrates’ court.

It was gathered that Madam Success lured the victims between the ages of 13 and 15 years from Akwa Ibom State to Agbor, Delta State, on the pretext of making them sales girls, but put them in a brothel and made to sleep with at least five men daily.

The Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Children Welfare, Ify Obinabo, rescued the four female students in Onitsha, where their trafficker kept them en route to Delta State.

The female students, while narrating their ordeals to journalists, stated that the socialite promised them jobs.

One of them said, “Auntie Success told us that she had job opportunities for us in Agbor, Delta State, where we would be selling drinks in a beer parlour, but on getting there, we discovered that it was prostitution work she brought us to do.

“The men paid the sum of ₦1,000 or ₦2,000 directly to our madam, who only gave us N400 every day for feeding. The direct payment to Madam Success made it difficult for us to have any cash at hand.

“These dresses (skimpy clothes) were bought for us from the proceeds paid to our madam.”
